Reducing feline stress while raising product awareness

Feliway is a pheromone product with deep roots in the veterinary space but only in recent years has it been made available in retail stores, a major player being PetSmart. As Feliway crosses the bridge into the consumer market Ceva Canada believed a great way to get in front of people would be running a centre isle promotion—a micro pallet display.

Our challenge was to create a display that not only looked great but also provided consumers with some knowledge regarding feline stress responses, which often present itself to owners as their cat just being a “bad kitty”—scratching furniture, showing aggression towards owners or other cats.

Leveraging a long relationship with our client, and a deep understanding of the brand in the veterinary channel we were able to create new messaging that was geared towards the general public.

Felway offers three different products, each with their own benefit. We needed to develop a simple graphic that would provide consumers clarity as to which product best fit their cat’s situation in this self-directed environment of a point of purchase display.
